Macaroni Casserole
Family favourite. A quick and easy delicious recipe.
Ingredients
- 4 cups dry macaroni
- 1 lbs ground beef
- 1 can cheddar cheese soup
- 1/2 large can stewed tomatoes including juice
- oregano according to taste
- cumin according to taste
- 1 small onion chopped
- olive oil
- 6-8 kraft cheese slices
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to directions
- Sautee onions in olive oil
- Add ground beef, cumin, and oregano and cook until no longer pink
- Add cheddar cheese soup
- Drain macaroni and add tomatoes
- Mix meat into macaroni and transfer to a baking dish
- Cook uncovered at 350F for 25 mins
- Cover top of casserole with cheese slices and cook until melted
Notes
Substitute diced, flavoured canned tomatoes if desired
