Macaroni Casserole

Family favourite.  A quick and easy delicious recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups dry macaroni
  • 1 lbs ground beef
  • 1 can cheddar cheese soup
  • 1/2 large can stewed tomatoes including juice
  • oregano according to taste
  • cumin according to taste
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • olive oil
  • 6-8 kraft cheese slices

Instructions
 

  • Cook macaroni according to directions
  • Sautee onions in olive oil
  • Add ground beef, cumin, and oregano and cook until no longer pink
  • Add cheddar cheese soup
  • Drain macaroni and add tomatoes
  • Mix meat into macaroni and transfer to a baking dish
  • Cook uncovered at 350F for 25 mins
  • Cover top of casserole with cheese slices and cook until melted

Notes

Substitute diced, flavoured canned tomatoes if desired
