Dried Beef Dip
Holiday favourite. A great appetizer to keep peoples appetite in check before a big meal.

- 1 pkg cream cheese
- 2 tsp finely chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt or garlic powder
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 small jar dried beef finely chopped or 1/2 a large jar
- 1/2 cup pecans finely chopped
- 1 box crackers personal preference
Pre-heat oven to 350F.
Mix all ingredients except for nuts and put in a baking dish.
Sautee pecans in butter.
Top mixture with sauteed nuts.
Bake in 350F oven until bubbly (15-20 mins)
Serve with crackers of your choice
- Try serving with a mixture of different crackers.
- The jar of dried beef dip is difficult to find in Canada. Getting it on visits to the U.S. is usually best.
- Hormel or Armour are brands that I have used.
